Innovation Ignited seeks to introduce a free Mini Invention Challenge designed to integrate invention education across diverse content areas seamlessly. Through a quick-start hands-on team challenge, their goal is to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students. By harnessing the power of invention, they aim to cultivate a culture of innovation that empowers students to become active participants in shaping the future.
This edWebinar showcases the Mini Invention Challenge as a versatile tool for educators to effortlessly infuse innovation into their curricula. Whether teaching science, mathematics, language arts, or social studies, this challenge adapts to any subject area, fostering cross-disciplinary connections and enriching learning experiences.
By engaging in the Mini Invention Challenge, students embark on an introduction to how invention leads to exploration, experimentation, and discovery. They learn to generate ideas, prototype solutions, and communicate their findings effectively. Ultimately, Innovation Ignited aims to ignite a passion for innovation in students, preparing them to tackle more extensive real-world challenges through invention and intellectual property education.
This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-12 teachers, librarians, and school, district, and education technology leaders.
