Often, communication between school and home happens in one direction. Schools offer updates, provide information, and make requests. This edWebinar explores strategies and essential conditions for ensuring that parents have what they need to be an equal part of the conversation and collaboration.
Viewers leave with:
- An understanding of the conditions necessary for strong communication between home and school
- Strategies for ensuring communication is accessible, equitable, and strength based
- Tips for creating strong and sustained communication habits that support student learning
- Ways to navigate hard conversations and repair communication when things don’t go as planned
This recorded edWebinar is of interest to PreK-12 teachers, librarians, school leaders, district leaders, and education technology leaders.
