About the Presenters
Rebecca Honig has been working in the field of family engagement for the past 20 years. She is the Chief Content and Curriculum Officer at ParentPowered, where she leads the content department and the development of numerous evidence-based family engagement curricula that have reached over 750,000 families to date. In her role, she has presented on family engagement strategies across the country. Additionally, she has authored numerous curricula, parent guides, and children’s storybooks for Sesame Workshop, Scholastic, Disney, Compass Learning, PBS, WGBH, HITN, and Nickelodeon. Rebecca has written and advised for numerous Emmy Award-winning shows such as The Electric Company, Odd Squad, Sesame Street, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She has also served as a Curriculum and Content Specialist for Sesame Street and spent ten years teaching and leading family workshops in public, private, and after-school programs. Rebecca has a master’s degree in education from Bank Street.

Françoise Lartigue has been working in the fields of education and family engagement for over two decades. She is the Director of Content and Curriculum at ParentPowered, where, in addition to designing and developing ParentPowered’s curricula and programs, Françoise also plays a key role in working directly with partners to identify, create, and vet resources to share with the families they serve. She began her career teaching kindergarten in the South Bronx through Teach For America and has extensive experience in developing and implementing STEAM-based curricula in the elementary years. She holds a master’s degree in early childhood education from Bank Street College.
