This edWebinar is the first in a three-part series about a groundbreaking approach that deploys family engagement as an effective intervention itself within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports, rather than treating family engagement as a pillar within the framework. Family engagement is twice as likely to predict student success as a family’s socioeconomic status (Mapp & Henderson, 2002). District leaders learn how to unlock significant student outcome gains by applying family engagement as a high-leverage strategy rather than a stand-alone initiative.

The summer months provide a powerful opportunity to establish strong foundations for the upcoming school year by building the trusting relationships with families that are essential to support improved outcomes. Effective family engagement is needed now more than ever to address the persistent challenges schools are facing—teacher recruitment and retention, improved attendance, and the well-being of students, staff, and families, to name a few.

Join us to learn how to prepare for your most successful back to school yet by adopting a new paradigm for fundamentally shifting family engagement to be a true student-support strategy. This recorded edWebinar is of particular interest to K-12 district leaders.

Stay tuned for information about winter and spring edWebinars, completing this three-part series.
