As the manufacturing sector continues to evolve with new technologies and demands, there is an urgent need to equip the next generation of workers with the skills required to thrive. This edWebinar delves into the critical role that collaboration between industry and K-12 education plays in shaping the future of manufacturing.

In this session, we will explore strategies for building effective partnerships that provide students with practical, hands-on learning experiences, industry insights, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies. Through successful examples of internships, apprenticeships, and curriculum development, we’ll discuss how educational institutions can better prepare students for careers in manufacturing and engineering, from advanced robotics and automation to traditional trades.

Attendees will learn about creating career pathways that not only focus on technical skills but also emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation—key qualities that are essential to the modern manufacturing workforce.

Join us for an engaging discussion on how industry-education partnerships can build a skilled, future-ready manufacturing workforce. This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers, school leaders, district leaders, school counselors, and education technology leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
