The National Career Clusters® Framework has guided career and technical education (CTE) since 2002. Yet, over the past two decades, smartphones, AI, and other technologies have transformed the way we work. New careers—and entirely new industries—have emerged, while existing careers now require new skills. To keep pace with these changes, Advance CTE introduced a comprehensive update to the Career Clusters Framework in October 2024.

Join this edWebinar for a closer look at the Modernized National Career Clusters Framework and how it will impact educators, students, and the future of CTE. Attendees will learn:

  • The four major changes to the Career Clusters Framework
  • The 12 essential skills students need to thrive in any modern career
  • How the new framework can help students identify career paths that align with their interests and values
  • How the new framework prepares students to work in emerging industries, like robotics and clean energy

Middle and high school educators, administrators, and school counselors who want to understand how to align their CTE programs with the evolving needs of today’s students and tomorrow’s workforce are encouraged to attend. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
