One area of concern for new teachers is the large number of students with special needs in their classroom. Many novices do not know how to differentiate their instruction to meet each student’s individual needs. Middle school administrator Shannon Holden showed novices how to use accommodations and modifications to create an inclusive classroom environment where all students experience success.
