Join educators Dr. Wendy Amato and Doug Lemov for a research-backed edWebinar on retrieval practice, one of the most effective strategies for boosting student learning. Grounded in cognitive science, retrieval practice strengthens memory through active recall and low-stakes assessment, leading to greater retention, understanding, confidence, and self-awareness.

As educators, we all strive to help students succeed, not just today, but for the long term. This session explores how consistent use of retrieval practice can transform your classroom and support long-term learning across grade levels and content areas.

You’ll see real classroom video examples, explore practical techniques, and walk away with actionable strategies you can use immediately. Whether you’re new to retrieval practice or looking to refine your approach, this session offers tools, reflection, and shared expertise.

Moderated by Nathan Estel of Passage Preparation, the edWebinar invites discussion around evidence-based teaching, student-centered instruction, and building collective efficacy among educators, and will be of interest to teachers, school leaders, and district leaders of all grade levels.
