Helping multilingual learners move toward reclassification requires more than practice alone. Students need purposeful, explicit language instruction, along with meaningful opportunities to apply what they learn.
In this edWebinar, attendees will explore practical strategies for preparing students to navigate the language demands of English language proficiency assessments such as WIDA® ACCESS, TELPAS, ELPA21, and ELPAC, while building the confidence and skills needed to move toward reclassification.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Strengthen language proficiency across listening, speaking, reading, and writing through guided and independent practice
- Use intentional planning, meaningful language practice, and targeted instructional support to build confidence and address common student challenges
- Implement classroom-ready strategies that support English learners across the curriculum and help create a pathway toward reclassification
