Planning small-group reading that truly supports, extends, and aligns with core instruction can be challenging, especially with limited time and a range of student needs. In this second edWebinar in a three-part series facilitated by national literacy consultant John Bennetts, you will:

  • Be introduced to a simple, flexible planning template designed to help educators align small-group instruction with what students are learning as a class
  • Analyze, through modeled examples, how to connect instructional routines to support and ensure coherence
  • Learn practical strategies to align instruction and practice across settings so all students receive meaningful, connected support

You’ll leave the session understanding how to use the planning template to map out small-group instruction that reinforces core content while addressing students’ specific skill needs. This edWebinar will be of interest to PreK-5 teachers, school leaders, district leaders, and education technology leaders.
