With new science standards recently adopted in many states, instructional leaders are recognizing that core curricular programs may not fully cover all required concepts and skills. This edWebinar guides district and school leaders through effective strategies for identifying and addressing those gaps using supplemental resources.

Designed for middle and high school science curriculum directors, department chairs, and district leaders, this session explores how to build a more complete instructional approach, whether aligning to TEKS, NGSS, or your state’s specific framework. Viewers learn how to evaluate supplemental materials for alignment and rigor, support differentiated instruction, and maintain consistency across classrooms.

This edWebinar also introduces emerging tools—such as AI-powered platforms—that help educators quickly generate aligned lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and slides based on science topics and standards. Viewers:

  • Understand common gap areas in newly adopted science programs
  • Explore practical strategies to supplement without overwhelming teachers
  • Learn how AI tools can support faster, more flexible lesson design
  • Gain actionable insights to enhance curriculum and instruction

Whether you’re mid-implementation or planning for next year, this session provides timely, research-aligned ideas to strengthen your district’s science program. This recorded edWebinar is of interest to middle and high school science curriculum directors, department chairs, and district leaders.
