School culture is often treated as something intangible, shaped by morale, relationships, and shared values, yet many schools see little lasting improvement despite ongoing initiatives. The reality is that culture does not shift through slogans or isolated programs; it improves when systems, behaviors, and daily experiences are intentionally aligned. This edWebinar examines the real reasons school culture efforts stall while providing a clearer, more actionable path forward grounded in Edtomorrow’s focus on sustainable, system-level change.

Viewers:

  • Identify why traditional school culture efforts often fall short
  • Understand the impact of routines, expectations, and leadership decisions on school culture
  • Discover how clarity, consistency, and adult behavior influence student engagement and belonging

Viewers leave with practical resources and examples that help align staff actions, consistent daily practices, and leadership decisions with a shared vision, along with clear next steps to begin shifting from reactive responses to proactive, system-driven approaches that build environments where students and educators feel supported, engaged, and accountable.

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-12 school leaders and district leaders.

Tyler Jones is the Principal of Rocky Mountain Elementary in Colorado, a K–5 school serving approximately 500 students. As a Title I school with 89% of students qualifying for free and reduced lunch, his work is grounded in ensuring every student has access to strong instruction and consistent support. Now in his 20th year in education and seventh year in administration, Tyler brings experience from both the classroom and school leadership. At Rocky Mountain, he focuses on building a culture where expectations are clear, support is intentional, and variability across classrooms is reduced. His leadership emphasizes practical systems, shared ownership, and the belief that culture is built through daily actions, not just ideas. He is passionate about helping teams turn vision into practice so that what schools value is consistently experienced by every student, every day.

He believes meaningful learning begins with meaningful relationships, and his work has consistently reflected a commitment to understanding students before expecting change from them. Throughout his time as a behavior specialist and administrator, Alan focused on strengthening relationships as the foundation for growth, helping students and staff navigate challenges with clarity and purpose.

Edtomorrow

At Edtomorrow, we support schools and districts by strengthening Whole-Child MTSS from the ground up. Our approach focuses on building a positive school climate through universal resources and routines, developing educator and leadership capacity through targeted professional learning and coaching, and supporting students through intentional re-entry systems when intensive support is needed.

Rather than adding another program or initiative, Edtomorrow helps schools align what already exists into a clear, sustainable framework that improves engagement, attendance, academic outcomes, and long-term student success.
