Studies show that teachers of color are uniquely equipped to create the conditions that enable all students to thrive. Yet, the diversity among our nation’s public school students far outpaces the diversity in the teachers, principals, and superintendents serving in our nation’s schools. It’s time to abandon the idea that educational leadership is the job of the few at the top. As schools face increasingly more complex challenges, there has never been a more critical time for teachers of color to step into more leadership.

Designed for educators looking to amplify their impact on students, elevate diverse voices and perspectives, and create lasting solutions, this edWebinar provides you with the insights, best practices, and strategies you need to build your leadership capacity and expand your influence. During this session you learn how to:

  • Lean into collective problem solving to accelerate change and champion equitable solutions
  • Facilitate open, honest, and meaningful conversations across your school community
  • Cultivate a growth mindset and pursue a cycle of continuous improvement
  • Build a strong network to advance your leadership journey

All viewers also receive a research-based toolkit that includes the transformational strategies you need to be successful as a leader today, and for years to come. Now is the time to become the change you want to see. This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-12 educators.
