Full STEAM ahead! Educators recognize that curricular integration is the most efficient, effective, and authentic way to support children’s learning in multiple domains. STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) learning is becoming common in early elementary education as increasingly more educators are seeing the benefits of integrating arts-based education with learning in other core curricular areas.

In this edWebinar, viewers come to understand how music can support young children’s learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—all while developing their innate music capacity. Viewers gain concrete ideas on ways to use developmentally appropriate music activities to support STEAM learning in enjoyable and holistic ways and discover new songs and activities they can add to their lessons right away. Direct connections with STEAM-related national learning standards are made.

This recorded edWebinar is of particular interest to educators working with preschoolers, kindergartners, and first graders, but all early childhood educators will leave inspired by the power of music to support learning.
