About the Presenter
Dan Meyer, Ph.D., taught high school math to students who didn’t like high school math. He has advocated for better math instruction on CNN, Good Morning America, and TED.com, and has made an appearance in the magazine Every Day with Rachael Ray. He earned his doctorate from Stanford University in math education, was the Dean of Research at Desmos Classroom, and is currently the Senior Fellow in Learning Innovation at Amplify, where he explores the future of math, technology, and learning. Dr. Meyer has worked with teachers in all 50 states, as well as internationally, and was named one of Tech & Learning’s Leaders of the Future.
