In this recorded edWebinar, kindergarten teacher, author, and curriculum creator Mr. Greg shares with you how he uses the curricula that his district requires while still finding time for fun and extra learning to meet the needs of ALL students. He addresses the challenges that we as teachers face with our required curricula. He understands those challenges because, as a current kindergarten teacher himself, he faces them every day.
In addition to those challenges, Mr. Greg helps you find opportunities in those curricula. He discusses the challenges and opportunities of a daily schedule by showing his own daily schedule. He also details how he teaches the required curricula in his classroom with integrity while supplementing those curricula with fun resources to support all students right where they are.

About the Presenter
Greg Smedley-Warren (Mr. Greg) is an ELL-certified kindergarten teacher in Nashville, TN. With 20 years of teaching experience, his journey began in fifth and second grade before an unexpected yet transformative shift to kindergarten revealed his true calling. From day one, he knew he had found his passion, dedicating the past 17 years to inspiring young learners with his engaging and dynamic approach.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University. He is the creative force behind The Kindergarten Smorgasboard. He is also a renowned international speaker and resource creator for educators in the PreK – 2nd grade classroom. When he is not in the classroom, Mr. Greg is busy as an entrepreneur, co-owning The Kindergarten Smorgasboard, Elevate Your Classroom, and BERTEAU & Co. with his husband. His businesses support and inspire educators around the world through classroom resources, blogs, conferences, professional development, planners, and more.
