Social-emotional learning (SEL) is a key component of academic success. It helps students develop self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that help them cultivate positive relationships and environments. Because we know the importance of SEL resources for veteran and new educators, Discovery Education has joined forces with global social impact partners to curate professional learning, classroom activities, and other content to address this critical need in school districts.

In this edWebinar, you learn how Discovery Education’s SEL Coalition and other programs support student well-being and educators working to seamlessly infuse this content into their classrooms. Viewers leave with an understanding of:

  • What social-emotional learning is
  • How this critical information can be easily integrated into the classroom
  • Free ready-to-use resources available for educators and students that support well-being

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-12 educators and school and district leaders.
