Seth Walker

About the Presenters

Seth Walker is a 2025 graduate of Lincoln High School in Alabama and a cybersecurity major at Troy University. In 2023, Seth and his peers actively helped launch Talladega County’s first Cybersecurity Pathways program in partnership with Digital Promise, supporting the Region 2 site visit and raising awareness throughout the district about the value of the initiative for students. Driven by a passion for learning and teaching critical cybersecurity concepts, Seth chose this career path to empower others to understand and protect digital systems. His dream job is to become a cyber auditor, ensuring companies maintain proper security protocols and safeguard community data integrity.

Andrea Cook

Andrea Cook is the Lead Digital Learning Coach at Kansas City Public Schools in Missouri. Andrea’s 25-year career runs the gamut of education and has been a leading voice in Educational Technology. Andrea has served as a K-8 technology teacher and Coordinator of Digital Learning for Kansas City Public Schools. In that role, Andrea was instrumental in redesigning professional development so that all teachers and students within her district were familiar with the PIC-RAT model for technology integration before the pandemic. Andrea has also served as the Director of School District Partnerships for Leanlab Education, a non-profit that specializes in research and development of new edtech tools. Andrea has a bachelor’s degree in political science, a master’s degree, and an education specialist degree in educational technology, all from the University of Central Missouri.

Cassie Graves

Cassie Graves is a Senior Research and Development (R&D) Program Manager. She leads the League of Innovative Students at Digital Promise, where she champions placing youth at the heart of research and development. Her work includes partnering with community teams to co-design equitable solutions alongside youth, educators, and families. She has a passion for elevating youth voices, supporting newcomer students, and developing learner pathways. Cassie holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies – sociology from the University of California, San Diego, and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of San Diego.
