About the Presenters
Kyle Farner is a 21-year education veteran with experience in multiple subjects, administration, and quality control. He currently serves as the Assistant Principal at 27J Online Academy in Brighton, Colorado, managing success coaches, intervention programs, and school operations. He maintains work/life balance with outdoor adventures in the mountains of Colorado and in the Riviera Maya.
Kaisha Mathis is an educator of 18 years with a bachelor’s degree in special education, a master’s degree in school counseling, and a master’s degree in school administration. She has worked in special education and alternative education, as a school counselor, and in a variety of administrative duties. Kaisha has founded Oklahoma’s first and only public school virtual cooperative, THRIVE Learning Collaborative, formerly Tri-City Learning Academy, serving students from various Oklahoma public school districts. Kaisha has presented at numerous virtual education and distance learning opportunities over the years in Oklahoma and around the country and leads Oklahoma Directors in discussions about the needs of virtual programs across the state. Kaisha was also the lead author of the newly published CCOSA Blended Framework 3.0, an evaluation tool for program directors to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of current virtual learning programs.
Dr. Breauna C. Wall has over a decade of expertise in educational leadership and special education. As a mother of two, she is deeply committed to nurturing and empowering the educational community. Driven by the philosophy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., she emphasizes the question, “What are you doing for others?” As the founder and CEO of CollaborativeEd Solutions, she focuses on providing expert-led, evidence-based, and customized educational solutions, with a strong emphasis on professional learning and continuous support. With a doctorate from Johns Hopkins University, where she continues to serve as a teaching associate, Dr. Wall combines academic knowledge with practical experience, advocating for research-based strategies in education. She is also a Christian living her faith in daily life and spreading the Good News.
