As educators, we know that summer break can be a critical period for student learning. Without engaging activities, students can experience learning loss, which can have long-term effects on their academic success.
In this session, we’ll explore the importance of summer engagement for continuous learning and discuss practical strategies to help students meet their reading and learning goals. We will explore leading industry research, discuss various challenges districts often faced in summer learning, and share strategies to address equity and prepare students for the upcoming school year.
This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 school leaders, district leaders, and those in summer school roles, reading intervention roles, and dropout prevention roles. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
