Jackie will share what makes the curriculum student centered, new terminology to consider, reframed objectives, and what served as inspiration for their work. About the Presenters

Michelle Luhtala is the Library Department Chair at New Canaan High School in Connecticut and was one of five school librarians named as a “Mover and Shaker” by Library Journal in 2015. She is the winner of the 2011 “I Love My Librarian” Award and the Library Association’s 2010 Outstanding Librarian Award. Jacquelyn Whiting is a veteran educator with 25 years of experience as both a high school social studies teacher and a library media specialist. She is a Level 2 Certified Google Educator and Certified Google Innovator. She currently works as a library media specialist in the library learning commons at Wilton High School in CT.
