Are you currently using or planning to integrate Open Educational Resources (OER) in elementary math instruction? The universe of digital content offers everything from math games and tutorials to lesson plans and virtual manipulatives that can be used to energize and personalize instruction. Which ones are right for you, your lesson plans, and your students? Finding quality, standards-aligned content on your own can be time-consuming and challenging. It doesn’t have to be.

In this webinar, look at OER through the lens of elementary mathematics. Our presenter is Eva Henderson, who has worked in education for 16 years with a special emphasis on technology. She was joined by Jeff Myer, Product Specialist for Learning.com. Together, Eva and Jeff guided viewers through suggested best practices and tools to both identify and deliver engaging, instructionally sound, lessons built around OER – specifically for elementary mathematics.

Sourcing the content is only one piece of the puzzle. Using it effectively for instruction is the other. Eva and Jeff will discuss how to use OER smarter, better, faster for creating lesson plans that support 21st century skills and current technologies. In 60 minutes, learn how you can efficiently do more with digital content.

This session will be beneficial for elementary math and general education teachers, elementary principals, elementary math coaches, curriculum leaders/developers, technology specialists, and media specialists.
