Jody MartinAbout the Presenter

Jody Martin has 35 years of extensive and diverse experience in the early childhood field. She taught preschool, directed a childcare center and worked at the corporate offices of two national childcare companies. She is presently the professional learning content manager for Frog Street Press. Jody has authored Preschool Health and Safety Matters, Bringing the Outside In, and several courses for online training companies, and has written several articles for early childhood publications. Her book, Rethinking the Classroom Landscape: Creating Environments That Connect Young Children, Families, and Communities, was awarded 2017 Book of the Year. Her latest book is titled Through a Child’s Eyes: How Classroom Design Inspires Learning and Wonder. Jody is a dynamic presenter and recognized leader in the field of early childhood education with a commitment to providing quality programs for children.

 

Kelly PhilbinAbout the Moderator

Kelly Philbin has extensive experience in education and educational publishing. She has worked with school districts across the country as both an educational consultant and an account executive. In addition to creating and implementing training plans for school districts, she also led a national team of content specialists. She currently manages the national sales team at Frog Street Press. Prior to her career in educational publishing, Kelly taught a variety of grade levels. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation, focusing on early literacy and English language learners.
