In recognition of Digital Citizenship Week, this edWebinar, combined with a livestream demonstration, connects expert educators and digital citizenship advocates to share actionable strategies drawn from The Achievery’s proven curriculum and Richard Culatta’s groundbreaking framework from “Digital for Good.”
In this edWebinar, you engage in a three-part experience:
- Teach: Gain expert insights into how we can help young people become thoughtful, ethical digital citizens who use technology to make positive contributions to their communities.
- Model: Observe an Achievery lesson that models digital citizenship skills and provides students with activities that help them practice being amazing digital citizens. This portion of the presentation is livestreamed on YouTube to reach a wider audience of educators, parents, and students.
- Reflect: Identify one digital citizenship practice and one Achievery resource you can implement right away—for your students and for yourself. This segment also includes Q&A.
Expect brief framing, concrete classroom examples, and small wins that add up. Whether you are a teacher, counselor, or school leader, you leave with actionable strategies to deepen digital citizenship in your setting. As technology becomes increasingly integrated into education and daily life, teaching proactive digital citizenship isn’t just important—it’s essential.

About the Presenter
Brett Roer is the CEO and Founder of Amplify & Elevate Innovation, an organization helping education leaders repurpose time and responsibly integrate AI to drive transformational change. A nationally recognized voice on AI in education, he has partnered with superintendents, principals, and districts across the country to design practical strategies, deliver professional development, and provide AI executive leadership coaching that strengthens leadership and builds future-ready schools.
Brett serves as the Lead Content Expert for ISTE’s AI Literacy for Leaders course and is the Lead Facilitator of ISTE’s 2025–2026 National Community of Practice for Building Leaders. He has co-led AI summits in six states for thousands of educators and co-hosts the AmpED to 11 podcast, spotlighting innovation and human-centered leadership. With 16 years of experience in NYC public schools, Brett’s work continues to emphasize that AI is not about replacing educators but about giving them time back to focus on what matters most: student success and thriving communities.
