How do we define equity in the classroom and what does that look like in a very diverse student body? What are we doing to make a difference with our students? As educators, it is our responsibility to empower all students to learn, to grow and to achieve their dreams!

In this edWebinar session, learn from Dr. Doug Fisher, co-author of Building Equity. Dr. Fisher introduces the Building Equity Taxonomy and how this new model can help our education leaders organize their efforts to achieve:

  • Physical integration
  • Social-emotional engagement
  • Opportunities to learn
  • Instructional excellence
  • Engaged and inspired learners

Based on the authors’ experiences, Building Equity focuses on equitable practices and outcomes that support critical standards of equity in a school or district. This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers and school leaders.
