As we head into the second half of the school year, teachers and administrators are thinking about one thing: how will I help all of my students to do better this year than they did last year on the end-of-year state assessment? It’s not an easy question to answer. The good news is that by utilizing technology to do what it was meant to do, we can unite as leaders in the transformation of literacy to maximize student achievement. Join Dr. Debi Crimmins for an interactive discussion about how educators and administrators can use personalized and differentiated instruction to support students’ ownership of their own literacy growth while building metacognitive strategies that will give them the confidence and ability to ace their assessments!
Participants will leave the session with a better understanding of how to use technology in the classroom; personalize instruction to engage every student and then differentiate learning content, process, and environment to meet their individual needs; and finally, how to foster student’s own understanding of their learning process throughout every lesson.
