A school vision must be a living, breathing tool, not a statement that collects dust and is easily forgotten. A collaboratively, illustratively crafted school vision brings a sense of purpose, alignment and camaraderie to the entire faculty. This recorded webinar introduces viewers to a simple process that engages colleagues and builds deeper understanding of each other’s sense of purpose and pedagogy. This process helps to establish a universal vocabulary and align on key words that belong in a school vision statement. Using the Art Elements and Principles of Design, educators will visually express the meaning of their vision, build consensus and visually show their priorities.
