Resilient children need resilient adults. Sadly, too many adults caring for young children face stress and burnout and are struggling to show up each and every day with a resilient mindset. It does NOT have to be this way!

In this edWebinar, Nefertiti Poyner, Ed.D., Early Childhood Specialist and National Trainer at the Devereux Center for Resilient Children, will take you to a place of greater strength and determination. The focus will be on YOUR resilience, YOUR well-being, and YOUR overall health and happiness. You will learn simple strategies that can reduce your stress and increase your ability to focus, to be patient, to show empathy, to feel capable, to set limits, and to feel joy. These simple strategies are not magic bullets that make stress and burnout go away, but they are research-based tools that you can start using immediately.

You will leave this session with energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to make a few positive changes in your life that will lead to greater happiness and fulfillment and will undoubtedly resonate in the work you do every day with children, families, teams, and communities. This edWebinar will be of interest to PreK through elementary teachers, school leaders, and district leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
