In this recorded edWebinar, viewers will learn more about executive functioning skills and their importance, but more specifically, they will discover a variety of activities and projects to help bolster them at home and in school (or both at the same time!). In this new era, it is important to bring to light ways that technology can assist a blended classroom in soft-skill development.

The presenters share best practices as well as short activities you can use with your students to foster these skills of autonomy and responsibility while optimizing your time. Ultimately, your students will become more self-managing, which will free up your time to focus on what is important. Some of the activities will leverage a free tool by Studyo, Today, which integrates directly into Google Classroom.

This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to teachers, librarians, and school and district leaders of the middle and high school levels.

Aishah CholmondeleyAbout the Presenter

Aishah Cholmondeley is Studyo Today’s Customer Success Representative, helping students, teachers, administrators, and parents alike find the best ways to use Studyo’s platforms toward their goals. She has spent time in the classroom as an ESL teacher in both the public and private systems, and liked it so much she still teaches private lessons part time. Supporting students at varying levels of executive functioning (EF) is a passion of hers—many moons ago, she was that kid who constantly procrastinated, missed deadlines, spaced out, and forgot her homework (or, on unlucky days, the whole backpack). The drive to help students who feel as lost as she did back then brought her to Studyo Today, and informs her approach to EF skill development.

Renaud BoisjolyAbout the Moderator

As the founder of Studyo, a project-management and planning platform for students and teachers, he is passionate about helping students build their executive functioning skills in the digital age.
