Join us for an enlightening conversation with four students from Livingston High School in New Jersey as they share their perspectives on the opportunities and concerns at the dawn of the integration of AI into all aspects of education and life. The panel discussion will be moderated by Robert Rolling, PreK-12 Supervisor of Business, Technology & Engineering for the Livingston Public Schools. Robert will share how the district is developing their policies, a statement for their mission using AI, teacher checklists for classroom use, business courses that include AI, and other innovative ways they are preparing students for a changing world.
Questions asked to the student panel will include:
- When did you first encounter a generative AI tool, like ChatGPT or DALL-E, and what was your initial reaction or experience with it?
- How do you see AI influencing your daily learning experience now or in the near future?
- Are there any concerns or challenges you think students face with the growing presence of AI in education?
- What are some ways you think AI could help make learning more engaging or personalized for students?
- What would you want adults—like teachers and parents—to know about AI in the lives of teenagers?
Don’t miss this opportunity for us to hear from students on the impact of AI. This edWebinar will be of interest to middle and high school teachers, school leaders, district leaders, and education technology leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
