It’s time for our annual app review! In this edWeb.net webinar for the Emerging Tech community, Michelle Luhtala, Head Librarian at New Canaan High School, CT, shared apps that change the way students and teachers think about learning. Michelle featured apps that promote essential 21st century learning skills – creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.  This presentation is ideal for K-12 school librarians, classroom teachers, curriculum leaders, and administrators using iOS, Droid, or Chrome.

Michelle thanked all of the educators, her PLN (professional learning network), who shared their favorite apps for the content of this webinar, “I have very few ideas of my own. If it were not for my professional learning network I would have an empty brain because I happen to know some really smart people who do amazing things with teaching and learning and I’m so honored to be in their midst and their company.” That is a great comment on how collaboration helps us all to be smarter!
