The Building Understanding in Mathematics community, sponsored by ETA hand2mind,  is hosting a four-part series for Fall 2015 that explores strategies for developing geometric reasoning skills effectively across the grades. In this first edWeb webinar of the four-part series, Dr. Sara Delano Moore, Director of Mathematics and Science at ETA hand2mind, shared a developmental progression for geometric reasoning as well as strategies for laying a strong foundation. Sara also explored ways to develop student understanding of shapes and attributes.
