Come prepared to watch Steve on stage, get your hands messy and learn some simple strategies, to help young children build their own age-appropriate science connections.

During the session, Steve Spangler shared some effective ideas for connecting some of your favorite children’s literature to an assortment of eye-catching, hands-on science activities. Learn how to use elements of the story line to teach and reinforce fundamental parts of your early childhood science curriculum. He also shared some free online resources from his SICK Science series that are guaranteed to spark your children’s excitement and creativity. This session is best suited for early childhood educators, Pre-­K to 2nd grade.
