Karen AllenAbout the Presenter

Karen Allen has been an educator for over 20 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. She began her career as a high school French and English teacher. After over 10 years in the classroom, Karen shifted her focus to supporting teachers as a curriculum specialist working with English language arts teachers, and then later as school principal in alternative education programs. For the past several years Karen served as the coordinator for the Marin County Office of Education’s Foster and Homeless Youth Education programs.

 

Robin FaltzAbout the Host

Robin Faltz has been in education sales for more than 20 years in the New York metropolitan area. Robin began her career as a special education teacher, then shifted into the business world working with primarily edtech companies in sales and marketing. She spent 10 years with Apple Computer performing sales to higher education institutions, however, she found her passion when she went back to her roots with K-12 over 15 years ago, helping school districts by providing them with robust software programs. She is very proud to know that she is helping so many educators as well as students overcome the many challenges of teaching and learning with the help of online solutions she introduces to them.
