About the Presenters

Hope Thompson is the Program Operations Manager at NextWaveSTEM. She is a former elementary science teacher in Baltimore and Chicago Public Schools and has also held roles in instruction and curriculum design for robotics courses for students from pre-k to third grade. At NextWaveSTEM, she oversees the implementation of STEM programs across the country as well as the ever-growing NextWaveSTEM curriculum catalog.

Joe Ryan

Joe Ryan is the STEM Project Manager at The Reimagined Classroom. He is a former mechanical engineer and STEM teacher. Throughout his career, Joe has authored over a thousand engaging STEM lessons and projects.
