Students learn science best by doing science, but some complex concepts are more difficult to carry out in a classroom setting than others. This is where engaging multimedia and technology, such as video or digital simulations, can help to enhance teaching and increase student understanding. When used correctly, multimedia can harness students’ natural curiosity, inspiring investigation, exploration, and problem solving. This edWebinar provides guidance on how to effectively use multimedia to enhance science teaching and strengthen understanding.
This recorded edWebinar is of interest to teachers and school and district leaders of the middle school grades.
