“Kids should learn how to read and create graphics from a very young age. Most kids are natural-born artists, as we humans are a visual species. We should take advantage of that, as graphics and illustrations can be such a powerful weapon for understanding and communicating.” – Professor Alberto Cairo
Infographics can be a powerful tool for clearly understanding complex information and communicating complex ideas. Humans are natural storytellers and infographics provide a way to key into our visual understanding of the world around us. In the classroom they can be used in every subject area for every type of topic.
In this edWebinar, the last in a four-part infographic series, examine just how infographics can be used in the classroom. From introducing topics to generate interest, to ways to use them to demonstrate understanding, to a conversation on just how do you grade infographics, better understand the power they can have both in the classroom and beyond.
This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers, librarians, school and district leaders, technology coaches, and instructional coaches.
