Pedagogical documentation is the process of recording events in the life of a child as a vehicle for learning that bridges our understanding of children. When executed correctly, pedagogical documentation makes for an engaging learning process for both children and teachers, however, the challenge of implementing the theory of pedagogical documentation in a practical setting is a real hurdle to overcome. This is where digital tools come into play.
In this edWebinar, Ron Spreeuwenberg, Co-founder and CEO of HiMama, will discuss how digital tools are an enabler for busy teachers that are wearing so many hats to both get the documentation done that they need to get done, as well as to live the experience of recording observations together with a child. Digital applications can also be a huge timesaver when it comes to the things that teachers usually do over their lunch break, evenings and weekends, by automatically storing observations in portfolios and learning stories for future reflection.
PreK administrators and educators will benefit from attending this session. There will be time for questions after Ron’s presentation. Join us to learn about using digital tools to implement pedagogical documentation.
