About the Presenters

Mitch Weathers is a passionate educator who helps teachers and schools create predictable learning environments that lead to students developing highly effective executive functioning skills. He is the author of the #1 best-selling book Executive Functions for Every Classroom – Creating Safe and Predictable Learning Environments and the founder of Organized Binder, Inc. Mitch speaks nationally and internationally to help educators develop their own executive functions and set their students up for success in school and beyond!

Amanda Morin

Amanda Morin is a neurodivergent neurodiversity activist, an award-winning author of six books, an early childhood specialist, and a nationally known speaker, deeply committed to fostering accessible and inclusive environments for neurodivergent individuals. She leverages her expertise in learning and child development, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), special education, advocacy, and mental health to distill complex data into easily digestible information for parents, educators, and employers who want to advance the mission of creating inclusive content, programs, and strategies to make the world accessible to all.

Her latest book, Neurodiversity-Affirming Schools: Transforming Practices So All Students Feel Accepted & Supported, is available for pre-order and will be released Jan. 21, 2025.

About the Moderator

Jessica Jackson is the Director of Professional Learning for the Learner Variability Project at Digital Promise, where she puts her passion for social justice into designing professional learning experiences that change mindsets and practice. Jessica has over 20 years of experience in education across a variety of settings that reflect her expertise in the science of learning, whole-child approaches, and culturally responsive practices. She has her master’s in education from Pace University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond.
