How will teachers and tutors use remote and hybrid learning after the pandemic? Online learning was the best bad option when schools had to weather shutdowns over the past couple of years. Educators know that face-to-face instruction is optimal for most learners most of the time. But one of the bright spots to come out of our recent experience is a better understanding of where virtual instruction does work well. Many educators are now thinking about where these hard-won lessons can be applied in a targeted way.

This edWebinar provides educators with ideas and strategies from front-line practitioners on how online learning is making a difference in very different environments. This shift is a global phenomenon, so our two United States-based educators are joined by an expert from the United Kingdom.

The session covers how three different organizations are using online learning, and a lively discussion fueled by audience questions dives deeper into the topic. Viewers have a broader perspective on where online approaches can improve student outcomes. They are also provided with a white paper that reviews the funding sources for online learning recovery under ESSER, ESSA, and state initiatives.

This recorded edWebinar is of interest to K-12 teachers, tutors, school and district leaders, and education technology leaders.
