The pandemic accelerated online learning for all and highlighted some of the advantages of virtual professional learning for teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, and all staff—anytime, anywhere. Virtual professional learning gives all staff more choice and personalization, flexibility in time and place, and better work-life balance. Effective professional learning has become critical for staff support, morale, and retention at a time when there are so many staff shortages.
In this edWebinar, the presenters demonstrate how edWeb.net’s free professional learning platform, edWebinars, and podcasts can provide district and school staff with more autonomy, enjoyment, and engagement in professional learning. They show concrete examples of how school districts are using edWeb as a professional learning hub packed with high-quality resources for PreK–12 educators.
This program is part of the edWeb PD in Action series that highlights how education leaders are redesigning professional learning to support staff growth, culture, wellness, and retention, and improve student outcomes.
This recorded edWebinar is of interest to school and district leaders, teachers, paraprofessionals, and any educator interested in creating effective and engaging professional learning programs.
