Making Use of Holiday Time
Monday December 14, 2015 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST
Presented by Kevin Baird, Chairman of the Board at the nonprofit EdCenter: The Center for College & Career Readiness
Sponsored by Ed Center
All students suffer learning loss when they are away from school. During the holidays, students can miss nearly one month of focused instructional time. In this research-filled webinar, Kevin Baird (Chairman at the nonprofit Center for College & Career Readiness) presented pragmatic, practical and effective strategies to engage students during their downtime, and transform holidays into learning opportunities.
Webinar viewers will walk away with a few holiday gifts in the form of free curriculum resources for reading and mathematics. Start a new school term strong by ensuring that holiday breaks do not lead to learning loss!
Join the College and Career Readiness community to participate in online discussions with peers, for invitations to upcoming webinars, to view past webinar recordings, to take a quiz and receive a CE certificate for a past webinar, and for access to more resources.
