About the Presenters

John Osborn is a former math coach, assistant principal, and now principal with Arkansas Lighthouse Charter Schools with 10 years of educational experience. As a leader, he uses collaboration and democratic/transformational leadership to drive the work and success of the school. Prior to his roles with Lighthouse Charter Schools, he was a middle school teacher for three years in Memphis for Shelby County Schools, where he received New Middle School Teacher of the Year in his first year with the district. John is married to his college sweetheart and has two wonderful boys.

Alexis Reed

Alexis Reed is a dedicated Program Manager at BookNook with over 10 years of experience managing a variety of projects in industries such as edtech, marketing, live entertainment, and information technology. She’s passionate about bringing access to high-impact tutoring to the students who need it most, and is energized to go to work every day knowing that what she does helps to improve the lives of children!
