A new school year brings with it the annually recurring question: What new and exciting ways can teachers engage students in class? With so many resources to choose or borrow from, how can language teachers cut through the helpful noise to find answers they can use right away?
In this edWebinar, we will share five fun and effective strategies to motivate students and complement your language program. Whether your language learning is traditional or tech-driven, these approaches are easily adjustable to complement your lessons. We’ll talk about effective classroom strategies and how to use them.
By setting up language corners in the classroom, all students will have the chance to participate in engaging activities designed to reinforce their emerging speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Learner self-direction and creativity is at the heart of each of these flexible strategies that are easily adapted for other classroom content. What you learn in this edWebinar can be applied throughout the school year.
Come prepared to ask questions and share your ideas, too! This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers, librarians, and school and district leaders. We’ll save time at the end of the presentation to answer your questions.
