Every edtech program has a study to point to that demonstrates proof that it works. But as educators, how do you know that a program will work for a school like yours, with students like yours, in circumstances like yours?
As educators and administrators demand more from edtech evaluation, the landscape is changing and evolving into a continuous improvement cycle for edtech programs. In this edWebinar, Mr. Coulson covers how researchers can look for consistent patterns over multiple years, across grade levels, and especially across different types of districts and assessments. He discusses a recent study that successfully evaluated program results by 42,000 students at 239 schools across 14 states and how the study methodology could be replicated.
Viewers will learn more about what to look for in edtech evaluation and will have key takeaways about how edtech research can be – in the words of IES Director Mark Schneider – “useful, usable, and used.” This recorded edWebinar will be of benefit to preK through junior high teachers and school and district leaders.
