Let’s face it, we’re not all gifted visual artists, but as educators we often need to create visuals for students, teach students to draw, use visuals to explain concepts and ideas, and engage students more deeply. For this recorded edWebinar, bring some paper and pencils, or your tablet and digital pen. Tim May, Creative Director for XPLANE, shows you some simple tricks and techniques to help you draw to explain, draw to express, and draw to communicate with your students and your colleagues.
Tim’s simple visual-thinking techniques, easy-to-adapt sketching basics, and insights into using visuals to connect and collaborate will help K-12 teachers and their students enjoy drawing and build lasting visual expression skills—all using simple lines, circles and shapes. Spend an hour with Tim and then start using these visual techniques to keep your students on track, excited and seeing new possibilities in learning!
This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to teachers, librarians, school and district leaders, professional development leaders, curriculum leaders, technology directors and coordinators, career and technical education teachers, and photography, art, and media arts educators at all grade levels.
