Whether K-2 students are learning virtually or in a traditional classroom, it’s become essential that they build crucial technology skills related to keyboarding. In this edWebinar, national presenters Keith Kline, OTR/L and Valerie Zaryczny, OTR/L share strategies for digital skill building that will boost students’ confidence in their abilities, and that can be adapted to suit your classroom’s needs. Attendees will learn why they should include pre-keyboarding activities prior to expecting children to use both hands on a keyboard as well as the importance of lessons on digital citizenship and social-emotional learning. Throughout the presentation, Keith and Valerie provide tips for making school-to-home connections and empowering adult co-teachers. Learning Without Tears is here to help your students feel confident as they navigate technology and begin their digital journeys.

This recorded edWebinar will be of interest to kindergarten through elementary teachers, librarians, and school and district leaders.
