Just like the doors in our homes keep us safe by letting us decide who comes in, students need “privacy doors” to protect their personal information online. Cybersecurity can sound like a big, technical topic, but it doesn’t have to be! Join Jennifer Ehehalt, Sr. Regional Manager at Common Sense Media, and Cristi Means, Elementary School Librarian, for a friendly session designed for K–8 teachers who want to help students stay safe and smart online. During this edWebinar, we’ll discover ready-to-use lessons that make online safety simple and engaging for students and learn easy strategies to help students protect their personal information.

Come ready to learn, explore, and leave feeling empowered to make cybersecurity approachable for all learners. Weave digital safety and privacy into your everyday teaching, no tech expertise required! This session keeps students at the heart of every tip and tool, because protecting their privacy and well-being is something every teacher can do.

This edWebinar will be of interest to K-8 teachers and librarians.
