Moving assignments to a digital format can seem daunting, especially with the assortment of tools that are being thrown at teachers. But it doesn’t have to be! In this edWebinar, examine good practices for at-home learning, discover why packaging digital assignments is important and a few tips for how to do it, and explore two tools for efficiently packaging digital assignments. At the end of this edWebinar, viewers will feel better prepared to create digital assignments in either Google Slides, Seesaw, or both, so that students will be able to easily navigate them at home.

About the Presenter
Ashley Fort’s goal is to help ALL students become empowered life-long learners who are confident 21st-century citizens. To accomplish that goal, she serves as a digital learning coach in Lexington County School District 3, a rural district in South Carolina, helping teachers effectively leverage technology to enrich learning and increase student engagement. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in early childhood education from the University of South Carolina, Aiken, and a Master of Education in teaching and learning with a concentration in educational technology and online instruction from Liberty University. In 2017, Ashley was named the PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovator for South Carolina for integrating STEAM into her daily instruction. In addition, she is a Google Certified Educator and Trainer, Common Sense Educator and Ambassador, Seesaw Certified Educator, Ozobot Certified Educator, and Epic! Master Teacher. About the Host
Jennifer Ehehalt is the Pittsburgh Regional Manager at Common Sense Education. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in education. She continues to partner with state-level organizations, school districts, and community organizations across the nation to help integrate Common Sense education resources. Jennifer provides educational leadership through consultation with school districts, professional development (both in-person and virtual), conference presentations, and parent universities. Jennifer sits on the Advisory Council for Kidsburgh and is a champion for Remake Learning Days Across America. Jennifer has a B.S. in elementary education and an M.Ed. in educational leadership. Jennifer was recently named 2019 Alumni of the Year from Edinboro University.
