About the Presenters
Dr. Laura Dieleman is a chiropractor who has a focus on neurobehavioral disorders in children and studies the incredible link between learning, movement, behavior, and brain function. She is a vital organ in developing BrainAhead’s course content and in leading its research program. Dr. Dieleman has been a partner in a family-focused chiropractic practice for over 12 years.
Nicole Regush has been in education for 28 years, specializing in programming for neurodiverse students at the classroom, school and district level. She currently serves CISVA and 51 schools in the capacity of Director of Learning Support, district partner to the Provincial Outreach programs for Fetal and Autism Spectrum Disorders, SET-BC and the Safer Schools Together branches of the Ministry of Education.

BrainAhead is an online program that guides students through a variety of exercises and activities all designed to activate the brain in a multitude of ways. This warms up the areas of the brain necessary to be a successful student in the kindergarten to grade five classroom, addressing brain-based root causes. There are also supplementary competency-based resources such as reflections and self-assessments.
